His family room is big and with comfy sofas, so it is always nice to watch anything on his plasma TV. Of course, my pre-teen cousins that were there couldn’t care less about football, so they were immediately bored. My one aunt came to the rescue, she had some teen-age type DVD movies and a portable dvd player that they take when traveling. My cousins were so relieved and went to an extra bedroom to watch one of the DVD movies. They didn’t mind that it was a small screen, I think they had more fun watching the movie on a portable dvd player. It just goes to show, you don’t have to be traveling to enjoy portable dvd players.

We had all wanted to go there for awhile, and the winter is a beautiful season to see the majestic forests and mountains that Colorado has to offer. I have been all across Colorado before, and I knew the perfect spots to hit on our trip. I really wanted to show them Vail, Denver, and Fort Collins. Vail is certainly my favorite town in Colorado. I love the history behind it, and the amount of snowboarding and skiing that encompasses that town. I took along my brand new portable dvd player so that we could watch movies in the car on our trip.
        Our portable dvd player came in handy immediately when we started to drive across the state. Sometimes there are vast stretches of road where there is not much to do, so having the portable dvd player is a miracle. It helped the time go by so much faster so that once we arrive at our destination, it felt like no time even went by. Overall, our trip was amazing.

We knew it would be a place where the children would love to bring their friends. Nowadays it is important to know that the children feel free to have friends over and they do not have to be out and possibly in harms way. We knew this would be an expensive project but we wanted to do it in the best way possible. We spent many hours online studying the various possibilities including plasma TVs, and of course DVD surround sound. You can learn so much online and we found that purchasing a DLP projector was a great way to go. We can attach it to our TV and the picture is incredible. The children are enthralled when they play video games on the huge wall screen and all of the characters seem to be larger than life. Another wonderful thing about this projector is that it also has an attachment for the computer. Surfing the net has never been more fun.

I just love the picture that is displayed from our big screen plasma television. There is nothing clearer or more spot on than that screen. Together we became educated on what exactly was being offered and what would best fit our needs. After slimming down our choice of plasma TVs to a few my husband and I researched even further with consumer reports. With our final choice in mind we order the plasma television.

Now that the media room is finished and we have been enjoying all the amenities of the plasma TV, surround sound speakers and comfortable recliner chairs, I have to say, plasma TVs are the best! My husband and I have no regrets with this piece of technology. I was going to get my son a couple of computer video games until I saw a set up for teaching your child how to build a rocket. I liked it because it gave us time to bond and we learned together, as a team. Rockets and games are great for gifts, but sometimes what our kids need is something tangible and real.

    My son plays in the local pee-wee baseball league, and I am the assistant coach. It is not equipped with any media players like the newer trucks and SUV's. So, we have found that a portable DVD player works great. We set the portable DVD player up and along with some portable speakers and run movies during our entire road trip. The kids and I are occupied with the movies and my husband likes to hear them as a distraction when he is driving for long periods.

The portable DVD player is easy to set up and use. The kids can do it. We each pick movies to take on our road trips. Then we take turns watching one after the other. There are a few movies we seem to gravitate towards over and over. We have seen and heard them so many times that you will find us reciting lines along the way.

Our older car does a fine job pulling around all our toys and the family. We are very happy the portable DVD player works out so well in the limited space we have for it in the truck. It runs from a converter in the cigarette lighter and does not jeopardize the truck in any way. It keeps us all entertained and the trips go quickly!

Once we are all settled in I start the movie and we are blanketed with the DVD surround sound!

Sometimes my neighbors will pound on the apartment walls in an effort to prompt me to turn down the DVD surround sound. We have four kids, and they are not the quiet types.
Three are boys, and they are always active and bustling with ambition. There are several times throughout the evening that we find ourselves reminding them that they are indoors and need to play with their indoor voices. They always have a new story to tell, and it is usually in the middle of a movie that they will remember it. If it's not a story, it's some kind of sound effect that they feel they must display. Sometimes I swear they make them just so that they can be making noise.
I have a difficult time watching movies when they are making all of their playful sounds. I can't hear things very well when there is too much noise in the background. The way that we have solved this issue is to get DVD surround sound. Now, all I have to do in order to hear my movie is turn up the volume on the DVD player recorder!

Over the past few weeks my roommate has been out of town in Europe on vacation, leaving the house to my wife and I! I decided what better a time to make use of having the whole house than to surprise my wife with an intimate dinner and a truly romantic evening. I rented a movie to watch on my DVD surround sound system for later on in the night, and bought some candles and gourmet food. After downloading the proper recipes, I made sure to follow the directions very carefully and cooked the perfect meal. Then, moments before she got home from work, I put her favorite Jack Johnson CD in the DVD surround sound system, lit the candles and had dinner all ready. You should have seen her face when she saw all the trouble that I went through to make her evening oh so special. We had a wonderful dinner, and then enjoyed watching a movie together before turning in for a memorable night!

This DLP chip is what is at the heart of DLP technology. The little chip contains over two million micro mirrors, which create digital images when put together with a digital video or graphic signal. The chip also needs a light source and a projection lens to produce the image. But, when all of these are put together, we have the technology that drives DLP projectors.
DLP projectors and flat screen HDTVs contain these chips, which is why we can have pictures that resemble the quality we expect to see in the theaters. To run a projector, flat screens for the wall are required in order to display the images. Another bonus to DLP technology? The images that would normally burn themselves into a television or projection screen will not do so with DLP imaging. It has been said that gaming and watching pro ball games are superb when this technology is used to view them.

Ours certainly saw its fair share of usage before we wore it out! We had purchased a portable DVD player for our move South, in the month of July. The portable DVD player certainly did its job of keeping my kids happy in the car for the 1200 mile trek. However, it's purpose did not end there. See, we had left our television back at the house we'd just moved from. It was big and bulky and older, and we were afraid that if we moved it that far, it would not survive the trip. So, when we arrived at our new home, we did not have a television to plug our home DVD player into. Our kids ended up using the portable DVD player as their regular television/DVD player combo for a couple of months. The portable DVD player was a blast for them, because it went from room to room. They could watch movies on it in the living room, the tent in their bunk bed, or in the car on the way to the store. It certainly saw its usage. The lifespan of our portable DVD player? Approximately four months. That may not seem that long, but considering the abuse that it got being overused like it was, the portable DVD player certainly proved itself in the durability and ruggedness areas. As a matter of fact, it was the engine that drives the DVD to spin that conked out first. The video screen, sound, and laser are still functioning. I wonder if we can get it fixed......

One night the weather outside was so great, we were thinking if we should scrap the movie plan and go for a walk instead. One of my friends said that his uncle who was staying at his place for the weekend had a new DLP projector. Maybe we could watch a movie in his backyard. We all thought it was a great idea.

We went to his place and set up the DLP projector and laptop on the patio. We pulled out some blankets, pillows and rugs and settled down for a movie. It was amazing. The cool wind blowing on our faces and watching a good movie at the same time. To top it off my friend’s mom kept bringing us drinks and goodies to eat. It was great and we all enjoyed it. Now we’re thinking of pooling our money to buy our own DLP projector. Then we can use it for our movie nights when the weather is beautiful.

<img title="Plasma TVs" alt="plasma tvs, dvd surround sound" TVs" src="http://login.wordpressors.com/Upload/plasmatvsdvdsplus.com/PlasmaTVs-info3.jpg" />

There are times when we instantly fall in love with something at first sight and for many of us plasma TVs is one of these things. Last month I went to a house party and the host has the entertainment room prepared to be used as music and video central. The moment you go inside that room the first thing that captivates your attentions is the plasma TVs. Once I laid eyes on those babies it was as if those plasma TVs were sending hypnotizing vibes convincing me that there is a better more colorful world out there and they are the door to that world. That night the host had connected his plasma TVs to his cable box and found a channel that has HD music videos 24/7. I don’t know if the party was meant to happen all over the house, but everyone stayed in that room with the plasma TVs. We were all having so music fun watching all videos in almost life-like resolution while enjoying the cool beats coming from the DVD surround sound system. After that night it wasn’t just me who was convinced about the allure of plasma TVs—there’s just nothing cooler.

Portable DVD Player For My Car

<img title="portable dvd player" border="0" hspace="0" alt="portable dvd player" dvd player" src="http://login.wordpressors.com/Upload/plasmatvsdvdsplus.com/South.jpg" width="240" height="180" player?="" dvd="" />
My family and I recently moved 1200 miles from home. When I was packing our DVDs for the move, I started imagining our trip in the minivan. I was traveling alone with my four children, all under the age of ten. I reflected on my childhood and our family trips of a mere 200 miles. "He's touching me." "She's breathing on me." I remember them well. I decided then and there that packing all of the DVDs was not happening. Some were staying out of the box, and I was buying a portable DVD player. I have never had such a quiet ride in the car with my four children, as I did that trip South. We piled into our van, headed out, and I let them ride for awhile without the portable DVD player running. They made it a good few hours before the bickering began! I pulled over, set the portable DVD player up between the seats so that they could all see, and we were on the road again. It was a long trip, and we took three days to make it. The portable DVD player had a chord that I could plug into the electrical outlet in my minivan, so we were able to keep it running longer periods of time. It was one of the quietest trips that I have ever taken with my kids! They didn't even fight over not being able to see the screen or someone getting in their way! I did have to stop along the way to purchase one of those cassette tapes that allows your portable DVD player to play its audio through the car speakers. But once that was in, and we'd purchased a season of SpongeBob to go along with it, it was a pleasant ride with my children to our new home in the South.
